Ten steam engines dating back to 1912 are among the rolling stock on display at the open-air locomotive museum alongside Ankara’s main railway station. Also on show is the private railway carriage used by Ataturk, as well as other carriages and two coal loaders. Old photographs of railway lines and stations throughout Turkey are displayed inside a former station master’s house. Other exhibits include models, drawings, old railways tickets, and the furnishings from Sultan Abdulaziz’s train.
